New pics.

Sam is still shedding scutes. They are coming off slowly. I wish he would bask his tail end more, because it is starting to get covered in algae. I took some pics for a photo contest on Redearslider.com. Enjoy.

Wow, it has been forever!!

Thought I should probably update this, for the (last time I checked) 4 people who have seen this blog.

I gave away Zeke (formally Hoyte) and still have Sam.   Sam has recently started to shed, so his shell sorta looks like crap.    He is such a great fun little guy though.  He has also recently started to LOOOVE lettuce.  He just goes crazy for it.

PS. The water is crystal clear, but there is some algae on the tank itself.

Sam and Hoyte

Well, this is my first blog.... I guess that I will post some pics of my turtles (I only have one now) Sam, and Hoyte.  My sister named Hoyte. I recently have him away to a friend. His new name is Zeke. :)   Wellp, here they are!!

There is also a goldfish in there at this point in time.  Unnamed.  It is best to not get too attached to fish in a turtle tank....
